About The Writer

My name is Paul Tashiro and I grew up in Watsonville, California. I had a 31 year career in law enforcement and retired in 2018. I traded my badge and gun for a set of sushi knives to become a sushi chef in my home town. I am now the Owner & Chef of Miyuki Japanese Restaurant Watsonville, California.

Additionally, I created, wrote, produced, and hosted a radio show called “Ghosts N Grub Show” on KSCO Radio AM 1080, Santa Cruz, California. After leaving KSCO Radio, I went on to write and create reality television documentary shows. 

Mainly, I explore towns and cities across America and beyond. I have a passion for learning the history and culture of the places I visit and while I am there; I eat, drink, meet new people, and write about my experiences on Haunted Foodie Traveler.
